During a boiler repair, our priority is to first assess the overall quality of your appliance and then narrow down the part or parts that are causing the fault with the boiler. We will always aim to try and repair boilers before suggesting replacing, but sometimes there isn’t much that can be done. The term we would use is “beyond economical repair’. If we believe that the cost of parts that would have to be replaced to get the boiler back working safely and efficiently is too great then would advise that the money that would be spent on a repair would be best used towards a newer, more efficient boiler that is made to the rigorous standards that the UK market requires.
