Air Source Heat Pump
Air Source Heat Pump are a highly efficient, eco-friendly way of providing heating and hot water to your homes. By harnessing free energy from the air using a dedicated refrigerant gas, they generate heat without releasing any carbon emmisions into the atmosphere.
An air-source heat pump, sometimes referred to as an air-to-water source heat pump transfers heat from the outside air to water, which heats your rooms via radiators or underfloor heating. It can also heat water stored in a hot water cylinder for your hot taps, showers and baths.
The heat from the air is absorbed into a fluid. This fluid then passes through a heat exchanger into the heat pump, which raises the temperature and then transfers that heat to water.
Heat Pumps are touted as the future of home heating and hot water in the UK with efficiency levels as high as 400% higher than a traditional Combi Boiler with energy ratings as high as A+++ from some manufacturers.

They are Noisy – Air Source Heat Pumps have come a long way since they were first invented and so have their noise reduction capabilities. Modern ASHP are very quiet and if situated correctly cant be heard at all.
Don’t Get Hot Enough- Heat Pump technology has come a long way in the previous 3 to 4 years and if correctly sized for your home or property then they will work the same as a traditional boiler but save you a lot of money on utilities in the process.
