As a landlord, you’re legally required to ensure all gas appliances, pipework, and flues in your rental properties are safe for your tenants.

Kassgas provides Gas Safety Certificates (CP12) and tailored servicing contracts for landlords and letting agents across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, and surrounding areas.

✅ What Is a Gas Safety Certificate (CP12)?

A Gas Safety Certificate (also known as a CP12) is a legal requirement under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. It confirms that all gas appliances in a rental property have been checked by a Gas Safe registered engineer and are safe to use.

You must have a valid CP12 issued every 12 months.

As a landlord it is a legal requirement that any property or properties rented must have a landlord gas safety inspection completed each year. This inspection covers all gas appliances within the property which are owned by the landlord for safety and efficiency.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellations

Kassgas Boiler service contract can be cancelled within 14 days free of charge. After 14 days, cancellation can be made at any time however any payments made will not be refunded.

Gas Safety Certificate Completion Date

All gas safety certificates will be completed up to 2 months before the due date without affecting the original expiry date. This is only possible if the current tenants make the property accessible, two attempts will be made to gain entry to the property before the landlord is contacted to intervene.

New Boiler Installation

Our boiler installations can be fitted within 24 hours and all come with a minimum 5 years warranty up to a maximum 12 years. We install 7 days a week to work around your needs and apply no extra cost to weekends.

Boiler Servicing

We follow manufacturer instructions on all boiler services to comply with your boiler warranty and if a fault is found we can usually repair the same day. Boiler servicing is a must for any homeowner, ensuring your boiler is fully functional and efficient.

Boiler Repairs

Boiler repair can be costly and lead to further issues in the future when undertaken incorrectly.Our engineers follow strict checklists to ensure that any faults with on a boiler are found efficiently and repaired without issue.

Power Flush

Using specialist equipment, your pipework and radiators will be flushed at high pressure to remove debris and get your radiators and central heating back to maximum efficiency. Commonly used when a system has cold radiators.

Landlords / Letting Agents

We rang Kassgas on Wednesday afternoon. By Thursday afternoon we had a new boiler. Billy fitted our boiler, he was extremely polite and tidy he even took his shoes off each time he came into the house. Not enough words to praise him enough, he took time to explain how to work the new boiler and controls to two pensioners.
Billy and Matt were about to leave when we mentioned that our stop tap was leaking, they stayed behind and fit a new one. It was heartwarming to meet two young men who didn’t want to rip us off.

Billy and Matt just installed a new boiler. They recommended Ideal with a 12 year warranty. They turned up on time within a week of providing a very good quote. they removed the old boiler, installed the new one, flushed the radiators, added inhibitor, installed new halo wireless thermostats and checked everything was working ok in the space of 5 hours. They removed all the rubbish and left a very tidy finish.
